Sample transport
Samples will be collected from the doctor's office or hospital laboratory by our transport service at the agreed-upon time. Until they are transferred to our thermal transport containers, please keep the samples refrigerated (2-8°C) unless otherwise instructed. The temperature will be monitored during transport.
Urine samples for urinalysis and urine sediment analysis, like cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples for glucose and lactate analysis, should be stored at 2-8°C until analysis and analyzed as quickly as possible. Therefore, please pack these samples in separate shipping bags marked with the yellow "Refrigerated Samples" sticker. These samples will then be transported to the laboratory under continuously monitored refrigeration conditions (2-8°C).
CSF samples for bacteriological examinations should be stored at room temperature until analysis. Please inform the laboratory in advance of collection if this type of analysis is required to allow for transport at room temperature.
Sending samples by post (express delivery) is also possible, provided the refrigeration conditions are observed.

Rush orders
For urgent examinations, please mark the labeling card or examination order accordingly and attach the red "Urgent Order" card to the outside of the shipping bag's closure clip. Results will be communicated according to the specified time limit (immediately, by the specified time, or on the desired date), usually by telephone or via the requested method.
Maximum storage times
Please note the maximum storage times for test samples at different temperatures. This is especially important when re-testing is requested. The stated times start from the time the sample is taken and include sample transport.
